She steered him into a side room and indicated three shimmering beige brocade upholstered chairs, clearly imported from Coruscant. He hesitated to sit on such a conspicuously decadent seat, but he did because he would not stand before her like a servant. Uthan took the chair nearest him.

ARUETIISE AND THEIR... *checking notes* Coruscanti imported conspicuously decadent chair!!!

I so enjoy Hokan and his head right now. He is so intimidated by this woman so he needs to compensate.

I don't want to see the shit sentiment hardcore Jedi-stans always coming with that Jedi are the therapists of the Universe, ever again.

I mean... if we mean therapists in the worst possible way, then yes, sure they are resembling to therapists. And they shouldn't be near children.

But also I know that particular scene with the Jedi Order testing Anakin Skywalker is disgusting for me, because it reminds me of psychological institutions deliberately trying to coerce out certain behavior and emotions from their patiens and then making look like the thought/emotion was the patient's to begin with. Aaaaaaaaaaa i'm so furious!!!

Now imagine a room full of entirely of mindreaders who they can thank their empathy skills to the Force, and not because they can actually understand what is the other is going through and they are saying shit to a 9 year old boy like: If you miss your mother, you will end up in the Dark Side.

*sigh* I like the Jedi, but I was never fond of the prequel style Jedi Order.

Anyway, don't take my rage seriously. It's just fiction. But sometimes some books/scenes hit so hard, I can't help but get emotional.

By the way, I'm almost at the end of the book, soon finishing it.
