But there was a chance the cards contained information that would help him achieve his objective, and the beads and coins would come in handy if he needed to buy or bribe something or someone.

Yet another details I loved for Darman and his approach to living beings, or morality to begin with. Or more like, he absolutely doesn't have morality issues. Exactly what is a concept of property and thievery for someone like him?

And I think with this I arrived at the end of chapter 4.
