mamuzzyDamn, Genshin Impact can still surprise me. Natlan's main storyline wasn't for my liking, probably the "friendship saves the day" stories can't move a heartstring inside me anymore, but damn, the Tribe Mission for the Children of Echoes was fucked up.
A Mom lost her daugther, Nechca. She adopted another one, Nepecha, so she can use her as a vessel to revive her dead one, by stealing the memories of other people. Nepecha tried to get help from other people, but nobody believed her, or Tlazolli started to cry and wail, so other people would comfort her and forget about Nepecha. Tlazolli would have sacrificed Nepecha's life without hesitation.
Even after the failed ritual, Tlazolli didn't want to let her dead daughter go and wanted to restart to whole thing, so in the end she has to wait for the punishment from the Tribe.
